I handled backend WordPress development for this beautiful minimalist health blog. I built a very user friendly featured posts field that allows different posts to be chosen for each category.
On this corporate WordPress newsroom build I was challenged with integrating the social media properties of Anheuser-Busch’s 30+ brands in near real time. I built a wrapper for the FaceBook and Twitter APIs powered by WordPress’ HTTP API and internal cron system that went on to be used on several other sites.
Royal Caribbean Corporate Newsroom
I provided WordPress dev assistance on this corporate newsroom project for Royal Caribbean Cruises. I helped during the QA process and built easy to use custom content management fields for some of the complex content types found on the ‘About’ section.
General Motors FastLane
My team was challenged to push design limits with a redesign for General Motors’ FastLane content hub. I provided consulting early in the planning and design phases of the project and was tasked with backend WordPress development of the unique result.
I handled backend WordPress development on this informational site targeted at healthcare professionals for Celgene’s prescription drug Otezla. I coordinated with an external design firm to ensure that client requirements were met while maintaining dev feasibility and adhering to the strict laws governing drug websites.

We supported several academic systems and technology resources for more than 55,000 users. During my time there we implemented a campus wide residential network providing internet to approximately 4500 students. I also assisted with several side projects including creating technology training multimedia, rebranding the university website and tutoring students in the use of creative software applications.

The Digital Harbor Foundation runs several after-school and summer programs for Baltimore City youth on tech topics such as 3D printing and web development. I volunteered as a tech coach to mentor a group of high school students as they built WordPress websites for either a local non-profit organization or their own personal projects. The 12 hour ‘Web Slam’ culminated in an awards ceremony with a panel of judges that including several local tech business leaders, community activists, and a senator.
