I am an avid player of MMORPG’s – especially Blizzard’s World of Warcraft. I was very intrigued to see that Blizzard allowed players to customize the game’s user interface (UI) with custom graphics and additional functionality. I began WoW UI Gallery because, as a player who enjoyed customizing their UI as much as playing the game – I found myself wanting a community from which to draw inspiration and ideas from.
On WoW UI Gallery Custom UI enthusiasts can post their creations for others to see and judge or hop in the forum and exchange ideas. UI authors can assign meta data to their UI such as class, addons used, and intended resolution. This allows users to quickly browse and find what they are looking for – something severely lacking from any other competitors to the gallery.
